My Pets
This gorgeous little Birdie is my Congo African Grey.
He is my Feathered Baby. He is the absolute best pet
I've ever had. We get along so wonderfully!!
When I first brought him home, he was very shy,
and quite aggressive towards anyone who came near him.
To be honest, he scared the you-know-what outta me!
But with a lot of patience, and a trip to the Vet, he came around
and now he's the most loving pet I've ever had. I get so happy
when we spend time together, I could just tear up with joy
at how very far he's come. The Vet was telling me that
he was abused (possibly) in his past and thats why he was
so aggressive towards others, esp. men. He is also a feather
picker/plucker, which she said also must have came from stress,
and lack of attention at one point in his past also. But because of
doing it for so long, he continues to do so, but not nearly to the
extreme that he used to. He's healthy and he's happy, and thats all that
matters to me and to him. Almost forgot to tell you his name! Its wa-wa.
Short, sweet and simple so he can say his own name.

This is Littleone my oldest son's bird. He has been Littleone's
Daddy since he was hatched. The mom & dad did the feedings,
and as soon as he was able to my son began to handle him.
The result he's had is wonderful. Littleone is tame as can be
and loves to just sit on his shoulder, and cuddle in by his neck.
They love to watch cartoons together.
This is Rainbow, my youngest son's bird, he just loves
to cuddle, and always insists on facing the wrong direction!
lol I kept tying to get him to look at the camera, but he wouldn't.
Just like a kid you know *smiles* Rainbow as you can tell, loves to
cuddle to my son's neck and loves to hear my son sing softly
to him. So cute!!
This is Sunshine she is a very good natured Cockatiel. She
is pure yellow, and has some white. She is my baby Girl's bird.
Since she was 2 and a half years old, she's been holding
and petting Sunshine. Her favorite thing to do is to
take Sunshine for rides in her baby stroller
(plastic play one - in the house.)
Sunshine loves to be petted and also loves
to give kisses.
